‘Two Tone’ Carp Makes an Appearance at Vaux

Paul Steele visited Vaux at the beginning of April, here’s his catch report…

Details of your catches: 40lb11oz mirror, 35lb2oz mirror and 24lb7oz common. 3 pike up to 4lb. Lots of roach and perch (1lb8oz to 1lb14oz)

Comments: We chose Vaux again due to it being an excellent venue for a family holiday with good fishing right outside the house. Don’t let the catch report put you off; only one angler fishing for carp in 0-8degc, north easterly winds, fishing days only.

Really pleased to see “two tone”. Coarse fishing for perch, pike and roach kept the family happy all week.
