It’s official – after 48 days rain or snow in the last 60 days, we finally have sunshine today.
What heralds Spring however is the return of the migrating cranes – last seen as winter closed in heading south – this time heading north to their summer breeding grounds.
We hear them before we see them, sounding like a cross between a frog and a goose…
Must hurry up with the swim work – as soon as the bank dries out enough to get the digger to work! More on this soon…
