Now starts the busy time of the year for us at Watersmeet, getting everything ready for the new season.
Over the coming weeks we have a number of working party’s going over, to get the swims and surrounding areas up to scratch. Swim 2 & 3 are being enlarged so that you and your pod can fit on them, they will be similar to swim 1. The season got off to a flying start with 7 fish out this week ranging from a 21.7 mirror to a 30.7 mirror with a couple of nice commons thrown in as well. Well done boys!
Our 2nd working party then arrived in torrential rain and wind, bivvies set up and it was not long before they were catching. Within 48 hours they have had a total of 11 fish out.
Hope the weather changes as their jobs are weather related. Below are a couple that have come out so far...
We have also just had the hall and stairs re-decorated as we felt it was getting a bit shabby. We have replaced the kitchen table and chairs, washer/dryer and bait freezer. In the lounge, we have upgraded the flat screen T.V. to a 50in with new surround sound, and upstairs we have taken on-board the comments regarding lack of cupboard space in the balcony bedroom and put a pine unit in there. On our next trip we will be bringing over a new table and chairs for the conservatory.
We have put rubber chippings under the Swing for our younger guests, to try and prevent some lumps and bumps!
And lastly we have the Bivvy Power lads coming over in April, they will be shooting a new video demonstrating their new 'Remote Swim Lights'… so look out for that.
