Terry with a 46lb Mirror at Monument

Fishing Monument between the 30th Mar to the 6th Apr 2013, Terry caught;

6 twenties - 23 common and 20, 24, 25, 25, 28 1/2 mirrors
4 thirties - 30, 31, 33 and 35 all mirrors
46 lb mirror.

Best tactics/bait/rigs: Casting very close to features over a spread of boilies/pellets. Balanced bottom baits worked best although a couple were caught on pop-ups topped with luminous corn.

General comments: I think the lake is ideal for 4 anglers, two on each side as this would probably get the fish moving around the lake. I was fishing close to overhanging trees which was fine in march, but use of a bait-boat would probably be useful when they are in full growth. 

All the fish were in excellent condition and mark was more than happy to help with anything such as photos etc. Only had breakfast part of food package but i'm sure whole food package would be very good.
