Sizeable Pike comes out at Vaux

Ann Marshalls’ family must have been fairly surprised when they reeled this 24lb pike in (on a boilie) last week when fishing Vaux.

They followed this up with 3 doubles from top of the lake, 4 twenties and 2 thirties at 31lb and 35lb. All fish over 20lb were caught from the dam wall. Their most successful tactic was walking baits round to the sluice and putting them 2-3 meters off the wall. High-viz popups and yellow dumbbells worked the best.
